Kirtan with The Band of Now - Chant Your Heart Out!
Kirtan is a form of Bhakti Yoga - the way of the heart, to the heart. All are welcome to experience the healing vibrations of sacred mantras through call-and-response chanting in this heart-medicine ceremony. This is a practice which supports you finding your voice; letting your light shine as you vibrate healing sounds through your Being. Jai Ma! Stilling the mind, softening the heart, evoking joy, and dissolving separateness are just some of the magical benefits of this ancient practice. Mantras in Sanskrit and English inspire deep healing at every level. We evoke the latent energies within to awaken, drawing them forth through the ancient practice of chanting. This is a transformational experience, coming together through song, finding our voice, and finding ourselves. “You hold the key to your heart...your voice.” So please join us. Relax, breath and sing of beautiful things. No experience necessary, so come join the band!
