Body Love: Creating a Respectful and Kind Connection between Body and Mind
Limited Capacity seats available

The practice of yoga is to still the fluctuations of the mind. Yet to really settle the mind, we must begin in the body. The body can often feel like a “minefield” when we really drop into it, as stored in our tissues are “our issues”. Trauma, memories, and emotion are all housed in the cells of our body. Whatever your current relationship to your body, this class is designed to foster deep respect for the body and deep listening to its messages. Using pranayama, slow and mindful asana, meditation, and sankalpa, we will work on allowing the body to catch up with the mind.
