Japa 101
Come learn the ancient practice of Japa. From the dawn of time, people from all over the world have found the healing power of repeating sacred names and prayers; we call this chanting. This practice is at the heart of all spiritual paths and religions. For such a simple practice, many people are still not aware of it’s potency and how easy it is. Join us in learning some basic mantras, how to use a mala, and tips to get your practice started. The word Mantra literally means ‘mind tool’. The benefits of repeating mantra through the practice of Japa are many: it centers and prepares the mind for meditation, has a calming affect on the nervous system, and is a form of pranayama. Many find the practice brings joy and peace into their lives, and opens their heart. Please join us and experience what Japa can do for you.
